Between the new website launches

Creating a website from scratch for a brand new client is exciting and fulfilling and here on our blog we write about this a lot. However, as we were developing a new feature for a long-term client's website it occurred to me how silly it is that we don't shout just as much about the work that comes after launch day, those additional items to existing websites that happen amongst and between new projects.
It's silly that we don't highlight that work because that work says so many positive things. It shows that we have long-term, ongoing working relationships with our clients. It shows that our clients' websites are developing and evolving with the needs of the organisation and it shows that we're here to provide a continued service.
These items of work can come in various forms, like the online shop we built for ORCA or their recent Surveyor Network to help increase their volunteer recruitment. The re-organisation of expanding website resources for Climate East Midlands. The website training we provide to new members of staff at the Anti-Bullying Alliance or the monthly support given to clients like Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust and Support for Carers. There are too many to list it them all but needless to say we are proud to write about the between projects. They are a sign of healthy websites and positive partnerships and we will certainly do this more in the future.
