Green’s Windmill Case Study

Green’s Mill is a restored and working 19th century tower windmill in Nottingham, UK. The site is also home to a science centre, shop and community garden, where many events and workshops take place for children and adults.

The focus of this project was to promote facilities and events at the windmill and to provide clear and simple ways for people to donate and support the work of the charitable trust. The new design modernised the windmill’s online presence with a friendly and informative style, showing its appeal to people of all ages and especially the fun learning opportunities for children.

Website features and facilities include a news and events archive, embedded promotional videos, picture galleries and documents, pages clearly highlighting the facilities, visitor information, how to support and the history of the mill,
as well as social media integration.

We provide ongoing support and the website is of course hosted on our very own Green Hosting.
